EDA Tools Hardware Engineer (EDA)

Location: Haifa, Israel; hybrid work model with time split between the hirify.global site and off-site work

What you will do

• Design, implement, and verify hardware design tools, flows, and methodologies for new technology nodes.
• Develop hardware designs, including full-chip integration and hierarchical systems, for end-to-end EDA tool testing.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external EDA vendors to define and improve next-generation tools and methodologies.
• Develop, test, and optimize platforms, databases, scripts, and automated hardware design flows.
• Support performance, power, and efficiency optimization across hardware design automation processes.
• Debug software and resolve issues in design tools and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering.
• 3–5+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in Unix-based environments.
• Experience developing tools, flows, and methodologies for hardware design, including layout construction, layout verification, and physical design optimization.
• Python and Tcl knowledge.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Experience collaborating with external EDA vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Experience improving tools and workflows to increase efficiency and productivity in hardware design.
