Construction Superintendent

Location: El Segundo, California, United States; onsite with regular travel across the multi-site portfolio

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 annual base compensation, excluding bonuses, equity, and benefits

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day field execution of construction, tenant improvement, and capital projects across manufacturing, lab, and office facilities.
• Coordinate general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and multiple trades through pre-construction, progress, and closeout activities.
• Enforce construction documents, specifications, building codes, permit requirements, quality standards, and contractor safety plans.
• Track schedules, budgets, risks, delays, change orders, RFIs, submittals, punch lists, inspections, and closeout packages.
• Sequence trade work and validate building-system tie-ins with the facilities superintendent group.
• Support site acquisition due diligence and coordinate requirements affecting secure or classified spaces with EHS, Compliance, and cleared personnel.

Requirements

• 10–15+ years of experience as a construction superintendent or equivalent field leader on commercial or industrial projects.
• Experience delivering tenant improvement and capital build-out projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Working knowledge of building codes, permits, AHJ processes, and architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings.
• Experience coordinating contractors and multiple trades across concurrent job sites.
• OSHA 30 certification or the ability to obtain it.
• Regular travel is required, typically 25–50% and higher during active build phases, across the multi-site portfolio.

Nice to have

• Experience with manufacturing, laboratory, or cleanroom environments.
• Experience with defense, government, or secure-facility contractor sites.
• Familiarity with SCIF/ICD 705 construction requirements and work alongside cleared personnel.
• Experience coordinating BAS/BMS and controls contractors on mechanical and electrical tie-ins.
• Construction project management experience and eligibility for a U.S. government security clearance.
