Construction Superintendent

Location: Tampa, Florida, United States. Work arrangement: on-site.

Estimated base salary: $85,000 per year, plus equity and bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Oversee and coordinate on-site construction for assigned single-family homes from mobilization through delivery.
• Manage the simultaneous construction of up to 15 homes at different stages.
• Inspect workmanship, approve trade partner work and invoices, and track quality against scopes of work.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with building codes, permits, and inspection requirements.
• Maintain project records, daily activity logs, schedules, change orders, and financial tracking in digital and physical formats.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and trade partners on buyouts, budgets, client walks, scheduling, and occupancy permits.

Requirements

• 4+ years of construction industry experience with direct field experience in homebuilding.
• Ability to independently read and interpret structural plans and blueprints.
• Working knowledge of local building codes, permits, and residential construction processes.
• Experience coordinating Project Managers and trade partners to maintain schedule and budget performance.
• Strong Excel skills for project schedules, budgets, and progress tracking.
• Valid driver’s license.
