What you will do
- Serve as Scrum Master for software and firmware development teams, facilitating sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Lead R&D programs involving hardware prototypes, control systems, sensors, and firmware/software integration.
- Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, and delivery updates for prototype and proof-of-concept development.
- Coordinate prototype builds, testing, validation, and design feasibility activities across engineering teams.
- Manage risks, dependencies, resources, project metrics, and stakeholder communication.
- Drive continuous improvement, experimentation, collaboration, and accountability across R&D execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 7+ years of project or program management experience in an engineering or R&D environment, including at least 3 years with Agile software or firmware teams.
- Experience managing cross-functional prototype and proof-of-concept projects involving hardware, firmware, and software integration.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid engineering program management practices.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or equivalent project management tools.
- Fluency in English is required.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Certified Scrum Master, PMP, or PMI-ACP certification.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary R&D projects in renewable energy, IoT, robotics, or industrial automation.
- Knowledge of embedded systems, control algorithms, data acquisition, and prototype validation workflows.
