Scrum Master (Devices/Hardware OR Software)

Location: Remote, with travel required to Mendon, Utah, on an as-needed basis; posted locations include Chicago and San Francisco.

Salary: $65,200–$169,000 per year.

What you will do

• Plan and facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, board reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Break down stories into subtasks, tasks, spikes, and other actionable work items.
• Support delivery schedules, capacity planning, resource mapping, and resource balancing.
• Collaborate with clients, end users, product management, and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Identify and remove impediments to Scrum execution and delivery milestones.
• Escalate risks outside the development group and help address schedule delays.

Requirements

• 7+ years of related engineering-field experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• Hands-on Scrum Master experience with cross-functional Agile teams.
• Experience across mechanical or electrical engineering, electronics, embedded systems, mechatronics, software development, validation or testing.
• Understanding of functional safety, including ISO 26262 or equivalent standards.
• Proficiency with Scrum tools such as Jira and a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
