Intern - Data Analytics (AI Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Support the development of operational dashboards and engineering reports.
• Extract, clean, and explore manufacturing datasets from slider processing and HGA assembly operations.
• Write Python scripts and SQL queries to automate manual reporting tasks, with potential use of Power BI.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand data needs and translate them into analytical outputs.
• Complete a defined analytics project and deliver a final presentation.
• Participate in structured learning and regular check-in sessions.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Engineering with a strong analytics or programming focus, or a related field.
• At least third-year academic standing.
• Proficiency in Python and/or SQL.
• Experience with data analysis or data visualization through academic, personal, competition, or similar projects.
• Availability for a 3–6 month onsite internship in the Philippines.
• The academic program must require or allow an internship for academic credit.

Nice to have

• Coursework in machine learning, data mining, or statistical modeling.
• A portfolio of data-related projects on GitHub, Kaggle, or similar platforms.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent visualization tools.
• Exposure to manufacturing, operations, or engineering data.
