Data Engineer Associate Manager (AI)

Location: Taguig City, Philippines; work model prioritizes in-person collaboration with flexibility.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, data models, and analytics datasets with Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for high-volume, high-dimensional data supporting semantic models, reporting, advanced analytics, and AI use cases.
• Use SQL, Python, and distributed data processing frameworks to create performant, reliable, and reusable data assets.
• Implement analytics-ready data layers for Power BI and AI solutions.
• Support enterprise analytics platforms following migration to Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
• Collaborate with analytics, data science, and business teams to translate requirements into data engineering solutions.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in SQL and Python.
• Knowledge of semantic data modeling concepts.
• Experience building and supporting data warehousing and business intelligence platforms.
• Experience with Azure Databricks, including Python, PySpark, or Scala.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Warehouses, Data Pipelines, and notebooks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI, Analysis Services, Tabular models, and DAX.
• Experience with big data, distributed processing, and cloud-based data architectures.
• Exposure to AI and machine learning use cases, including data preparation for ML/AI models.
• Familiarity with DevOps, GitHub, and CI/CD.
