Senior Solutions Architect (Cloud Data Storage)

Location: Remote in Pennsylvania or New Jersey, United States

Annual pay range: USD $250,000–275,000 OTE, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own the technical relationship for customer opportunities from discovery and demonstrations through proofs of concept and architecture sign-off.
• Partner with Sales and account teams to qualify opportunities and shape strategies for unstructured data, performance, scale, and hybrid-cloud requirements.
• Design and validate solutions for file services, backup and archive, analytics, AI/ML, and cloud-adjacent applications.
• Develop architectures for multi-site collaboration, cloud integration, disaster recovery, and long-term data lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams, storage administrators, architects, and application owners across customer engagements.
• Create and maintain reference architectures, demonstration content, solution briefs, and competitive positioning.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Systems Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Pre-Sales Engineer at a software, storage, or technology company.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex pre-sales engagements end to end.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise storage, file systems, and unstructured data management across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Experience with NFS, SMB, object storage, hybrid-cloud solutions, cloud integration patterns, or multi-cloud data management.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into practical solution designs and present them to technical and executive audiences.
• Must be based remotely in Pennsylvania or New Jersey.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting customers across multiple industries and workload types.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including migration, tiering, and data protection.
• Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, or DevOps workflows.
• Knowledge of ransomware recovery, compliance, business continuity, capacity planning, performance optimization, or TCO analysis.
