Regulatory Counsel (Legal)

Location: Must be based in San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)

Salary: $172,000 - $275,000

What you will do

• Guide the company's path to becoming an ISP across the US, Canada, UK, EU, and Australia.
• Build and manage an international risk compliance program covering FCPA, export controls, and sanctions.
• Advise on B2B data privacy, GDPR, and CCPA compliance while partnering with the CISO.
• Support product and compliance engineering on FCC and safety reviews for hardware.
• Counsel ML and AI teams on responsible model training and deployment.
• Handle day-to-day employment, safety, and OSHA matters in collaboration with People and Facilities teams.

Requirements

• J.D. from a top law school and experience at a top law firm.
• In-house regulatory experience.
• Member in good standing of at least one state bar.
• Ability to learn fast and navigate unfamiliar regulatory regimes.
• Strong, tested risk frameworks and practical, risk-adjusted legal advice.
