Filling Operator (Manufacturing)

Location: Alliston, Ontario, Canada; onsite at the Alliston facility. Permanent midnight shift, Sunday to Thursday, 23:00–07:00 EST.

Pay: $26.55 CAD per hour, plus a possible shift premium for eligible hours.

What you will do

• Perform rotating filling-line duties for IV bag assemblies and IV solutions in various bag sizes.
• Weigh filled bags at regular intervals to verify fill volume.
• Visually inspect bags for fill volume, air volume, codes, expiration dates, lot numbers, and other quality characteristics.
• Place bags into protective over-wrap, operate the sealing machine, and load sealed assemblies onto sterilizer trucks.
• Complete in-process quality checks, document rejects, and rework bags when required.
• Report safety, quality, mechanical, or discrepancy issues and maintain a clean work area using 6S principles.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; proof will be requested.
• Ability to pass an ergonomic assessment and perform essential job duties around equipment, machinery, and conveyor belts.
• Experience with repetitive tasks and working in a fast-paced or assembly-line environment.
• Manufacturing or quality experience in a GMP environment; food or manufacturing industry experience is relevant.
• Ability to follow SOPs, cGMP requirements, quality standards, and safety procedures.
• Flexibility to work weekends, with a positive attitude, teamwork, quality focus, and attention to detail.
