Facilities Manager (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Los Angeles, United States; in-person collaboration at the Playa Vista office

Salary: $116K–$155K annual base salary, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead, schedule, develop, and manage the facilities team and in-house janitorial staff.
• Own preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, compressed air, and building systems.
• Manage vendors, service contracts, operating budgets, forecasts, invoices, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Lead facilities projects, build-outs, renovations, equipment installations, infrastructure upgrades, and space planning.
• Maintain compliance with building codes, lease requirements, OSHA/EHS programs, HAZMAT, waste, environmental, and insurance requirements.
• Manage emergency response, business-continuity plans, CMMS/IWMS records, work orders, reporting, and continuous-improvement programs.

Requirements

• All applicants must be a U.S. Person due to export control requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of progressive facilities management experience, preferably in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or high-tech environments.
• Experience managing people, vendors, budgets, facilities programs, and multiple projects in industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, building codes, OSHA/EHS requirements, and facilities best practices.
• Ability to work across office, laboratory, warehouse, and manufacturing environments, including production floors, construction areas, rooftops, ladders, lifts, and confined spaces.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting aerospace or regulated, mission-critical manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading facility build-outs, expansions, or new-site launches.
• Knowledge of NFPA, NEC, and applicable building and fire codes.
• CFM, FMP, or equivalent facilities credential.
• Experience with operational dashboards, financial controls, vendor contracts, budgets, and forecasts.
