Product Onboarding Specialist (Robotics)

Location: Onsite in Hillsboro, Oregon, within the Portland Metro Area

Salary: $17–23 per hour, plus stock and benefits

hirify.global is developing an automated high-speed grocery hirify.globallment system using robotics and automation.

What you will do

• Measure retail products and capture dimensions, weight, orientation, packaging type, and other item-level attributes.
• Enter product data into internal systems and review records for completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
• Test product placement, orientation, stability, and handling readiness within automated storage environments.
• Identify unsuitable products and document pass/fail results, exceptions, and special handling requirements.
• Organize product samples and maintain accurate inventory records throughout receiving, staging, testing, and completion.
• Collaborate with Operators, Engineers, and site leadership to resolve onboarding issues and support deployment, site acceptance testing, and production launch.

Requirements

• Experience in retail operations, grocery, warehouse, inventory, quality control, or similar environments.
• Safety-first mindset and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
• Strong accuracy, consistency, attention to detail, and process discipline.
• Ability to use spreadsheets, dashboards, logs, diagnostic tools, and metric reporting.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain complex system behavior simply.
• Reliable, self-motivated, calm under pressure, and available for a flexible schedule.

Nice to have

• Exposure to warehouse automation, robotics platforms, or industrial systems.
• Experience with product measurement tools such as calipers and scales.
• Experience supporting deployments, pilots, deadlines, and prioritization.
• Familiarity with Slack, Jira, Excel, or digital workflow platforms.
