Configuration and Lifecycle Management Team Lead | Production Engineering

Compensation: $160,000–$190,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Develop and implement company-level aerospace configuration management plans, processes, and documentation for new aircraft platforms.
• Maintain type and production design configurations throughout the full service life of aircraft products.
• Establish processes for accurate, traceable, auditable aircraft and asset configurations and FAA audit readiness.
• Ensure airworthiness documentation reflects aircraft configuration changes and status.
• Lead problem resolution and change control boards, including hardware and software scope and effectivity management.
• Grow and develop the configuration management team, train stakeholders, and maintain configuration software such as 3Dx and Polarion.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in aerospace configuration management and/or commercial aircraft certification.
• Understanding of engineering, supply chain, quality, product development, and configuration management processes.
• Knowledge of FAA advisory circulars, aircraft configuration management requirements, conformity, and test program execution.
• Experience with ARP 4754A and EIA-649.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, organization, and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• End-to-end experience certifying and launching newly developed aircraft products.
• Experience with RTCA DO-178C or RTCA DO-254 configuration management requirements.
• Experience with root-cause and corrective-action investigations.
