Configuration Management Lead (Nuclear)

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day configuration management activities, priorities, work assignments, policies, and procedures.
• Establish, maintain, and control configuration baselines for development, test, production, and operational systems.
• Facilitate configuration management audits, design reviews, and Change Control Board meetings.
• Drive resolution of configuration management issues and assess the impact of CMS and IT infrastructure changes.
• Partner with Digital Engineering and project teams to deliver CMS functionality within project timeframes.
• Mentor and train teams on configuration management services, concepts, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field with at least 5 years of configuration management experience in a nuclear or other highly regulated industry, or a master’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with process improvement and implementing continuous improvement solutions.
• Experience with engineering strategies for new technologies and infrastructure processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document processes and procedures.
• Ability to apply expertise across multiple complex assignments, develop methodologies, and present solutions.
• Must meet applicable ANSI/ANS 3.1 qualification requirements and relevant nuclear industry criteria.
