DC Senior Operations Manager (E-commerce)

What you will do

• Coordinate daily distribution center operations across inbound, outbound, dispatch, housekeeping, logistics, infrastructure, and related departments.
• Manage productivity, quality standards, operating costs, budgets, targets, objectives, and KPIs.
• Develop staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives, process changes, and continuous improvement programs.
• Set requirements for DC Managers, measure performance, provide feedback, and hold departments accountable.
• Support the DC General Manager and act as second in charge, overseeing the distribution center in the GM's absence.
• Promote best-practice sharing, operational innovation, and effective use of technology across departments and shifts.

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of senior-level distribution center operations experience in a complex, large, or multinational operation.
• Previous managerial experience within a distribution center and experience with overall warehouse or fulfillment center management.
• Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Leadership, people management, performance management, negotiation, analytical, organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain management and the ability to mentor and develop others.
