Operations Manager (E-commerce Fulfillment)

Location: Fulfillment center sites in Dayton, Ohio; Lewisberry, Pennsylvania; Clayton, Indiana; or Louisville, Kentucky. Onsite operations require flexibility to work weekends, and the position may require travel.

What you will do

• Lead inbound and outbound activities across receiving, picking, packing, and shipping on two shifts.
• Direct warehouse supervisors, Area Managers, and Operations Leads to meet customer order fulfillment, shipment, quality, and productivity objectives.
• Monitor operational KPIs including warehouse misses, on-time shipments, shipment defects, aged tasks, production per hour, and cost per order line.
• Drive planning, forecasting, standard process development, and continuous improvement across safety, quality, cost, delivery, and warehouse capabilities.
• Use the site Warehouse Management System to optimize order fulfillment and provide operational insights.
• Mentor, train, and develop Area Managers while building effective relationships across associates, carrier partners, vendors, fulfillment center teams, and company departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or comparable experience.
• 5+ years of management experience in fulfillment center or warehouse operations, including 4+ years in receiving, inventory control, and/or order fulfillment.
• 4+ years of experience managing large groups of hourly employees.
• Experience building or improving inventory management, order management, and warehouse management systems and processes.
• Strong project management, continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, communication, and leadership skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends; travel may be required.

Nice to have

• E-commerce or retail experience.
• Lean Six Sigma or Green Belt certification or experience.
