Operations Manager (E-commerce Fulfillment)

Location: Dayton, OH; Salisbury, NC; Clayton, IN; or Lewisberry, PA, United States. Full-time fulfillment center position with weekend flexibility required and possible travel.

What you will do

• Lead inbound and outbound fulfillment activities across receiving, picking, packing, and shipping on two shifts.
• Direct warehouse supervisors, Area Managers, and Operations Leads to achieve customer-order fulfillment and shipment targets.
• Monitor operational KPIs, including warehouse misses, on-time shipments, shipment defects, aged tasks, production levels, and cost per order line.
• Drive planning, forecasting, standard-process development, and continuous improvements in safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Use the site Warehouse Management System to optimize order fulfillment and generate operational insights.
• Mentor, train, and develop Area Managers while building relationships with associates, carrier partners, vendors, fulfillment center teams, and cross-functional departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or comparable experience.
• 5+ years of management experience in fulfillment center or warehouse operations.
• At least 4 years of management experience in receiving, inventory control, and/or order fulfillment.
• At least 4 years of experience successfully managing large groups of hourly employees.
• Experience improving inventory management, order management, and warehouse management systems and processes.
• Strong project management, continuous improvement, communication, leadership, and data-driven decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Retail or e-commerce experience.
• Lean Six Sigma and/or Green Belt certification or experience.
