General Counsel (AI Infrastructure)

Location: San Francisco, CA; on-site

Salary: $275,000–$335,000 per year, plus equity

hirify.global is building a multi-silicon neocloud that partitions and routes AI workloads across heterogeneous hardware for efficient production inference.

What you will do

• Lead legal strategy across commercial, corporate, financing, infrastructure, regulatory, and operational matters.
• Negotiate complex multi-party agreements with customers, infrastructure providers, hardware vendors, financing partners, and strategic partners.
• Structure transactions involving layered commercial arrangements, competing IP interests, and cross-functional technical requirements.
• Support data center, supply chain, hardware procurement, infrastructure deployment, financing, and strategic partnership initiatives.
• Advise leadership and cross-functional teams on AI infrastructure, cloud platforms, compute ecosystems, IP, regulatory, and compliance matters.
• Build scalable legal processes, templates, policies, risk management practices, and internal legal capabilities while managing outside counsel.

Requirements

• 10+ years of legal experience in technology, infrastructure, cloud, AI, hardware, or related industries.
• Strong experience with complex commercial agreements, strategic transactions, and multi-party deal structures.
• Experience balancing commercial, technical, IP, and risk considerations across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in high-growth, dynamic, or highly technical environments, including management of outside counsel.
• JD from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and practical judgment skills.

Nice to have

• Experience at a hyperscaler, neocloud, AI infrastructure, semiconductor, or high-growth infrastructure company.
• Familiarity with data center infrastructure, cloud platforms, AI compute, or hardware supply chains.
• Experience negotiating large-scale infrastructure, procurement, financing, or strategic partnership agreements.
• Experience building or leading an in-house legal function at a scaling company.
• Experience reducing reliance on outside counsel through internal processes, playbooks, templates, and legal operating discipline.
