Sr. System Software Engineer (Embedded Linux)

hirify.global develops AI vision processors for edge applications that extract data from high-resolution video streams.

What you will do

• Provide technical support to global customers using hirify.global solutions.
• Develop video and audio drivers and related software for embedded Linux systems.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain drivers and BSPs for hirify.global SoC chips, including USB, Ethernet, NAND/NOR, SD/eMMC, and PCIe.
• Upgrade the Linux Kernel on the hirify.global platform and evaluate system performance.
• Collaborate with other departments on software development and prepare technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least three years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong ARM assembly and C programming skills, with experience in Linux driver development and Makefile writing.
• Knowledge of video and image fundamentals and experience with LCD, HDMI, MIPI CSI/DSI, or LVDS interfaces.
• Good spoken and written English skills are required.

Nice to have

• Long-term experience with U-Boot, Linux Kernel, or Yocto in embedded programming.
• Hardware design experience.
