Senior Engineer I-Quality (Calibration and Metrology)

Location: Garden Grove, California, United States

Annual base salary: $70,304–$205,000, plus restricted stock units and quarterly bonus payments.

What you will do

• Manage and continuously improve the site calibration and metrology program.
• Ensure calibration compliance and measurement traceability for inspection, measuring, and test equipment.
• Schedule calibrations, track equipment recalls and overdue equipment, and investigate out-of-tolerance conditions and potential product impact.
• Support validation and qualification of new inspection, test, and production equipment.
• Conduct internal audits and support customer, regulatory, and third-party audits.
• Lead corrective and preventive actions, analyze quality metrics, and improve measurement effectiveness with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Quality teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, calibration, metrology, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of calibration and metrology principles, measurement systems, and traceability.
• Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, statistical analysis, process improvement, internal auditing, and quality management systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Must provide proof of US citizenship, permanent US residency, or protected-individual status under US export-control requirements.

Nice to have

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Calibration Technician, or Certified Quality Auditor certification.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with calibration management software and measurement system analysis.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, electronics, semiconductor, or other high-reliability manufacturing environments.
