Customer Quality Engineer (Semiconductor)

Salary: $120,000–$175,000 annually

What you will do

• Support US customers with pre-sales and post-sales quality requirements, questions, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with QA, FAE, failure analysis, reliability, engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to close quality issues.
• Review and refine failure-analysis materials, customer-facing presentations, and 8D reports.
• Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Support new product introductions, process improvements, and customer audits in the US and Asia.
• Contribute to improvements in quality management systems, including ISO, VDA 6.3, and IATF-16949.

Requirements

• BSEE or a related engineering degree.
• 3+ years of experience in semiconductor IC engineering and quality functions.
• Hands-on knowledge of quality tools, methodologies, statistics, and structured problem-solving techniques.
• Experience in at least two areas including customer quality engineering, quality management systems, automotive quality, reliability engineering, failure analysis, product engineering, or production quality control.
• Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, IC testing, ATE test correlation, silicon and package reliability, and failure-analysis processes.
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with customer-facing and cross-functional teams.
