Associate Manager, Quality Management - Metrology and Precision Measurement

Location: Onsite at the Canoga Park, California facility

Salary: $96,000–$178,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead metrology, calibration, and measurement system activities for inspection and test equipment.
• Develop and maintain calibration, inspection, and measurement processes supporting manufacturing and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 17025, AS9100, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
• Analyze measurement data, calibration results, and system performance trends, providing technical recommendations.
• Lead failure investigations, root cause and corrective action activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Plan departmental workload and resources while mentoring quality engineers and partnering with manufacturing, engineering, operations, and quality teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of related quality experience, or a graduate degree and at least 4 years of experience.
• In lieu of a degree, at least 10 years of related quality experience.
• Technical expertise in metrology, precision measurement, calibration, measurement uncertainty, and measurement systems analysis.
• Knowledge of ISO 17025, AS9100, GD&T, calibration methods, CMMs, and standard measuring inspection equipment.
• Experience with corrective actions, failure investigations, nonconformance reporting, MRB processes, audits, and compliance documentation.
• Ability to obtain a US-level security clearance; security clearances may only be granted to US citizens.

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicable computer systems.
