Lead Frontend Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design and develop browser-based and desktop user interfaces.
• Build and maintain component libraries, styling systems, and reusable frontend infrastructure.
• Research and refine user flows using real-world usage and feedback.
• Prototype and implement UI features with ML, backend, and systems engineers.
• Make complex AI workflows simple, accessible, and intuitive for a broad range of users.

Requirements

• Strong frontend engineering skills with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React.
• Experience designing responsive, accessible, and high-performance interfaces.
• Strong understanding of HCI principles, accessibility, usability, and visual clarity.
• Ability to prototype and iterate quickly in code and design tools such as Figma.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with engineers, designers, and ML researchers.

Nice to have

• Experience with browser extensions or desktop applications such as Electron or Tauri.
• Experience with mobile platforms and responsive design.
• Experience with complex workflows, automation, or agentic behavior.
• Backend, API, or AI systems experience.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
