Frontend Engineer - AI-First (AI)

Salary: $160,000–$230,000 USD per year

hirify.global is a seed-stage AI-native startup building a SaaS platform for IT Service and Configuration Management using AI, graph-based architecture, and product design.

What you will do

• Build responsive, accessible, scalable user interfaces with React, Next, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Develop and maintain shared component libraries and design systems.
• Integrate REST, SSE, and GraphQL APIs and services, including realtime streaming AI-first components.
• Use AI-assisted tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, linting, and code review.
• Partner with Product and Design to turn wireframes and complex enterprise workflows into production-ready features.
• Improve performance, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, code quality, and frontend architecture.

Requirements

• Several years of professional frontend engineering experience or equivalent.
• Strong experience with modern JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, especially React and Next.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive design, DOM, browser behavior, layout, and performance.
• Experience integrating APIs and working with backend teams, including realtime or streaming AI-first components.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and experience implementing wireframes and mockups with designers.
• Clean, maintainable, testable coding practices, Git, testing, and CI/CD workflows, with willingness to adopt AI-augmented engineering tools.

Nice to have

• Experience building conversational or chat-based applications with complex multi-turn state and dynamic message flows.
• Experience with design systems or component libraries.
• Experience with performance optimization, accessibility, cross-browser support, and responsive design at scale.
• Experience in a fast-moving startup or AI-driven product environment.
• Strong communication skills for explaining UI constraints and tradeoffs across teams.
