Design Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in New York; all full-time roles are in person

hirify.global is building an AI-powered healthcare network connecting doctors, pharmacies, payers, and biopharma to help patients access medicines faster.

What you will do

• Own the design system, including reusable components, patterns, and standards for product and web surfaces.
• Build and maintain the marketing site, campaign pages, and other public web experiences.
• Partner with product designers and engineers to simplify complex clinical and operational workflows.
• Lead interaction, motion, typography, layout, accessibility, and performance improvements.
• Define and document AI-native workflows using tools such as Cursor and Claude Code.
• Run web experiments, instrument surfaces, and use analytics to guide design decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience spanning design and front-end engineering.
• Strong React, TypeScript, modern HTML, CSS, and WebGL skills.
• Experience building or significantly evolving a design system or component library at a product company.
• Strong visual and interaction design skills with a portfolio demonstrating the work.
• Experience with a CMS, preferably Sanity, web experiments, and web analytics.
• Ability to work with high autonomy, move quickly, and take ownership of outcomes.
