Frontend Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in San Francisco, United States; relocation support to San Francisco is available as needed.

Base salary: $175,000–$225,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Build and ship core hirify.global Studio interfaces, including creation flows, customization tools, and interaction patterns.
• Design and implement browsing, search, filtering, and recommendation experiences for discovering AI personas.
• Develop reusable front-end systems, component libraries, and state-management patterns.
• Integrate APIs and translate complex AI capabilities into simple, intuitive user experiences.
• Optimize bundle sizes, performance, accessibility, responsive layouts, and micro-interactions.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineering to define APIs and shape roadmap priorities.

Requirements

• Strong front-end engineering skills with exceptional design taste and attention to detail.
• Mastery of React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind.
• Experience with API integration, state management, responsive layouts, and front-end architecture.
• Ability to build accessible components, write clean TypeScript, and optimize production performance.
• Ownership mindset with the ability to prototype, iterate, and take features from concept to production.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco, United States.

Nice to have

• Ability to contribute to Python backends when needed.
