Staff Agent Product Manager (AI)

Location: Boston or San Francisco, United States

Salary: $180,000–$235,000 per year, depending on level, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Own ambiguous, high-stakes product and customer problem spaces from initial framing through measurable outcomes.
• Lead executive-level engagements with enterprise insurance customers and communicate plans clearly under pressure.
• Structure, segment, quantify, and prioritize complex problems to make concise product recommendations.
• Partner with Engineering on launch priorities, reusable platform capabilities, customer-specific configuration, quality, speed, and scalability.
• Drive delivery, adoption, customer relationships, and measurable value in production.
• Convert recurring implementation solutions into reusable products, platform improvements, playbooks, and processes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in management consulting.
• Experience owning enterprise customer outcomes and messy implementations end-to-end.
• Strong analytical ability, structured thinking, and clear communication of complex work.
• High agency and comfort operating with ambiguity, competing constraints, and incomplete information.
• Strong academic record, clear analytical strength, upward trajectory, and evidence of raising the bar independently.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/ML systems, workflow automation, or agent-based products.
• Experience in insurance, fintech, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with system design tradeoffs and technical architecture.
• Experience productizing implementation solutions into reusable patterns.
