Procurement Associate

Location: Parsippany, New Jersey, United States; hybrid role

Salary: $75,000–$82,000 per year in New Jersey

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day procurement activities for assigned categories of goods and services.
• Monitor inventory, create and submit purchase orders, and follow up on supplier deliveries.
• Maintain supplier relationships and coordinate sourcing, forecast updates, demand changes, and product specifications.
• Resolve raw-material quality concerns with suppliers and internal teams.
• Analyze procurement, inventory, and supplier data to support sourcing, budgeting, supplier management, and waste-reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Forecasting, Warehouse Operations, Accounts Payable, and other teams to support operational changes and new-material launch timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Food Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Buyer in supply chain operations within food manufacturing or retail.
• High proficiency in Excel and SQL.
• Experience with ERP systems, procurement software, or facility-related analytics.
• Strong project management skills, attention to detail, urgency, and ability to learn quickly.
