Location: Blythewood, South Carolina, United States; onsite 4–5 days per week with occasional business travel
Salary: $100,000–$125,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus

What you will do
- Lead installation trials validating assembly processes, tooling, and equipment during pilot and series production.
- Define, implement, and maintain process control strategies for stable, repeatable, and compliant production.
- Support production teams during pre-series builds and own process performance during series production.
- Identify deviations, resolve equipment and tooling issues, and implement containment and corrective actions.
- Analyze pilot and production data to identify risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve flow, ergonomics, throughput, and quality.
- Develop work instructions, process documentation, and control plans; coordinate validation builds, rework activities, training, and cross-functional problem-solving.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in automotive production, pilot builds, or industrialization, focused on installation processes and process control.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, a comparable technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience collaborating across production, quality, maintenance, and engineering organizations.
- Strong analytical, data-driven, structured problem-solving, decision-making, and continuous improvement skills.
- High proficiency in DFMEA, PFMEA, control plans, and related quality and industrialization tools.
- Experience with metrology equipment, measurement systems, measurement reports, and explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.
