Product Manager (Robotics)

Location: Hybrid in Germany or Boston, Massachusetts

Develops embodied AI and robotics technologies for autonomous warehouse and fulfillment operations.

What you will do

• Own the product roadmap across robotics hardware, software, AI, and field reliability from concept through deployment.
• Define priorities against commercial goals and technical constraints, and manage a customer-driven backlog.
• Shape training-data strategy, model-evaluation criteria, and deployment thresholds with AI and R&D teams.
• Convert operator observations, field failures, and edge cases into capability specifications, performance SLAs, and integration requirements.
• Coordinate engineering leads, unblock dependencies, and track uptime, pick success rate, intervention rate, and time-to-value.
• Support pre-sales technical conversations and create product collateral for the commercial team.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, computer science, robotics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years working with robotics systems.
• Experience shipping complex technical products into production.
• Familiarity with robot software stacks such as ROS2, Zenoh, motion planning, control, and perception pipelines.
• Ability to work credibly with AI/ML teams on model evaluation and deployment criteria, and understand hardware-software co-design tradeoffs.
• Awareness of EU Machinery Regulation, ISO 10218/15066, and AI Act obligations.

Nice to have

• Background in warehouse automation, AMR, or logistics technology.
• Startup experience in an undefined scope.
• Experience with WMS integration or fleet management.
