What you will do
- Own the data engine and deployment platform that convert field operations into training signals for robot models.
- Define robot logging and episode requirements, implement fleet instrumentation, and evolve labeling schemas through audits and quality reviews.
- Lead annotation pipelines, telemetry capture, model-behavior observability, and remote teleoperation for recovery and intervention data.
- Build labeling, visualization, model evaluation, and task-management tools for research, engineering, and operations teams.
- Own setup, monitoring, evaluation, intervention, and escalation tools used by operators on customer sites.
- Visit customer sites regularly to observe robot failures, operator workflows, and deployment requirements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of product management experience owning labeling, annotation, or ML training-data pipelines end to end.
- Familiarity with ML infrastructure and the way training pipelines consume produced data.
- Experience designing and building tooling from scratch for both technical and non-technical users.
- Comfort working with physical systems that fail in real-world environments and are difficult to reproduce remotely.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites regularly and contribute directly during on-site work.
Nice to have
- Experience with video, multimodal, or time-series data labeling.
- Background in robotics, autonomous vehicles, drones, or fleet operations.
- Experience with human-in-the-loop systems, teleoperation, remote assistance, deployed hardware, or multi-site robot deployments.
