IT Systems Engineer II (Windows/Linux)

Salary: $150,000–$185,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, implement, and optimize infrastructure platforms supporting engineering, manufacturing, laboratory, and corporate operations.
• Own virtualization, identity, storage, cloud, and other core infrastructure platforms, including complex deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
• Engineer highly available systems and improve performance, capacity, scalability, and operational reliability.
• Develop automation, reusable scripts, infrastructure-as-code practices, and configuration management workflows.
• Lead resolution of complex multi-system incidents and implement improvements that prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with network, security, and application teams while contributing to infrastructure standards and roadmaps.

Requirements

• Must work onsite in Redondo Beach.
• Must be a U.S. Person or eligible to obtain an export license under applicable U.S. export regulations, including ITAR and EAR.
• 6+ years of experience implementing and supporting enterprise infrastructure; 8+ years preferred.
• Advanced Windows Server administration and working proficiency with Linux systems.
• Experience designing and operating virtualization environments.
• Strong automation and scripting experience, with PowerShell required.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex multi-system issues and understanding of infrastructure dependencies and networking fundamentals.

• Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, or laboratory infrastructure.
• Experience integrating on-premises infrastructure with cloud platforms.
• Enterprise storage architecture experience.
• Infrastructure-as-code or configuration management experience.
• Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
