IT Infrastructure Engineer (AI Infrastructure)

Location: On-site in Barber Lake, TX; Buffalo, NY; Houston, TX; or Lubbock, TX

Salary: $147,000–$182,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Build and operate on-site IT infrastructure across gigawatt-scale data center campuses, including corporate networks, Wi-Fi, badge systems, conference rooms, and edge compute.
• Automate endpoint, identity, and access provisioning so device setup and offboarding are managed as version-controlled code.
• Own the multi-site IT stack and coordinate with security on access controls and network segmentation.
• Create repeatable IT deployment runbooks for new data center campuses.
• Resolve on-site incidents and support field, construction, and operations teams under time pressure.

Requirements

• Experience building and operating IT infrastructure across multiple physical sites.
• Experience automating IT operations with scripting, infrastructure as code, or MDM policy as code.
• Experience owning identity and access management, including SSO, SCIM, and directory services.
• Experience resolving on-site incidents for field, construction, or operations teams.
• Experience designing multi-tenant or segmented network environments.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation and deployment runbooks.

Nice to have

• Data center or industrial site IT experience.
• Hands-on networking experience with BGP, VLANs, and firewalls at scale.
• Administration experience with Okta, Jamf, or Intune.
• Exposure to SOC 2 or ISO 27001 security and compliance frameworks.
