IT Systems Engineer (Robotics)

Location: On-site at the Carson, California office near Los Angeles, with travel to customer production sites.

Salary: $110,000–$145,000 annually, plus equity and bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary IT escalation point and own internal infrastructure, access management, onboarding, offboarding, and network configuration.
• Manage PC provisioning, imaging, Ansible-based configuration, and TeamViewer enrollment for internal and customer-site machines.
• Troubleshoot GPU driver, kernel update, license server, activation machine, and network issues affecting customer production sites.
• Support government enclave maintenance, including compliance logging, access control, and coordination with the enclave contractor.
• Establish a clear IT ticketing and intake workflow for the organization.
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI runner uptime, VPN, DNS, and internal tooling deployments, while documenting systems and creating operational SOPs.

Requirements

• U.S. export-control eligibility is required: U.S. citizenship or nationality, lawful permanent residence, refugee status, or asylee status.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in IT systems administration, infrastructure, or a related technical role.
• Strong Linux knowledge, preferably Ubuntu, plus networking troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible and basic scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to work on-site at the Carson, California office and travel to customer sites.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting internal employees and external production environments.
• Familiarity with MDM or RMM tools such as NinjaOne, JAMF, or Kandji.
• Exposure to AWS, including storage, EC2, and IAM.
• Familiarity with CMMC, NIST 800-171, or ITAR compliance in enclave or government IT contexts.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and writing practical documentation or SOPs.
