What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of software engineers.
• Own the architecture, technical direction, and delivery of the quantum execution platform.
• Build scalable infrastructure for orchestrating quantum execution across hardware providers, simulators, and cloud environments.
• Develop an understanding of quantum applications and backend capabilities to optimize execution performance and enable new capabilities.
• Drive software quality, reliability, and engineering excellence.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Infrastructure, and other core teams to deliver production-ready capabilities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience leading software engineering or R&D teams of 5+ engineers.
• B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python.
• Experience designing scalable backend systems, distributed systems, and workflow orchestration platforms.
• Strong architectural thinking and the ability to translate complex concepts into production-quality software.
• Proven experience hiring, mentoring, and growing engineering teams, supported by strong communication and leadership skills.
