Location: On-site in San Francisco or New York City, United States

Salary: $150,000–$275,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Embed with investor customers to understand workflows, identify opportunities, and scope and ship new solutions.
• Build custom integrations, data pipelines, and production-grade workflows in customer environments.
• Debug and optimize retrieval quality, LLM performance, and data ingestion in live production systems.
• Partner with AI Deployment Managers to drive adoption and unlock new use cases.
• Translate customer feedback into engineering and product priorities, often implementing platform fixes directly.
• Productize successful integrations and patterns, and create playbooks that scale future engagements.

Requirements

• 2–5+ years of experience as a software engineer or in a technical customer-facing role such as FDE, solutions engineer, solutions architect, or implementation engineer.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with the ability to work across the stack and handle messy data environments including PDFs and Excel models.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts including RAG, embeddings, LLMs, and retrieval systems; model training is not required.
• Strong customer orientation, ownership, problem-solving ability, and a builder’s mindset.
• Strong communication skills for translating customer needs into engineering priorities and explaining complex systems to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco or New York City.
