General Counsel (Fintech)

hirify.global is a fintech platform that enables investment in SEC-qualified shares of high-value artworks, including works by Banksy, Basquiat, and Picasso.

What you will do

• Own the company’s legal function and develop legal strategy while reporting directly to the CEO.
• Prepare and review offering materials, oversee Regulation A reporting and SEC filings, and support compliance with U.S. federal securities laws.
• Analyze investment vehicles and new product structures.
• Structure and execute financings, strategic partnerships, reorganizations, and other corporate transactions.
• Negotiate commercial agreements with business partners, vendors, and service providers.
• Maintain corporate and investment vehicle governance, support compliance policies, and advise teams on employment, intellectual property, privacy, marketing, and general corporate matters.

Requirements

• Approximately 7 years of legal experience, including training at a nationally recognized law firm in capital markets, corporate finance, or M&A, followed by relevant in-house experience.
• Hands-on experience with securities offerings, ideally including Regulation A, Regulation D, or registered offerings.
• J.D. with strong academic credentials and admission to a U.S. state bar in good standing.
• Ability to operate as an individual contributor and manage legal matters end to end with minimal supervision.
• Fluency with AI tools and interest in integrating them into legal workflows.
• Strong analytical, communication, judgment, attention-to-detail, and business-oriented problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the Securities Act of 1933 and the Investment Company Act of 1940.
• Background in securities, capital markets, M&A, funds, or general corporate law.
