Senior Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering

Location: Wonju-si, Gangwon-do, South Korea; manufacturing site in Munmak, Korea

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes and automation systems for fluid management production lines.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to increase productivity, reduce scrap, and achieve plant KPIs.
• Analyze manufacturing data, capacity, demand, and equipment performance to support risk-based decisions and on-time shipment.
• Create and maintain manufacturing methods, work instructions, master data, routings, scrap factors, standard costs, and work centers.
• Lead FMEA development, process risk evaluation, equipment upgrades, and capacity expansion proposals.
• Collaborate with design engineering, production, quality, vendors, and other plants to resolve manufacturing issues and improve manufacturability.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in CAD software and experience creating or reviewing engineering drawings.
• Strong knowledge of automated systems and process optimization.
• Strong English language skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of data analytics for smart manufacturing.
• Experience with Ignition software development and integration.
• Experience with cleanroom automation and high-precision assembly.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience leading large-scale automation projects and influencing automation strategy.
