Senior Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Serve as the site’s Process Control System subject matter expert and primary process control focal point.
• Develop, maintain, deploy, audit, and improve Process Control System procedures.
• Lead Process Control Planning reviews using process mapping, cause-and-effect analysis, FMEA, control charts, and Measurement System Analysis.
• Conduct SPC and control chart reviews to assess process stability and capability.
• Train and coach operators, engineers, and field teams in SPC, PCS, and advanced data analysis.
• Partner with engineering, operations, quality, customers, suppliers, and other sites to reduce variation and support continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing, quality, or process engineering.
• Hands-on experience with SPC, statistical analysis, and data-driven problem solving.
• Experience improving process consistency, quality performance, and manufacturing capability.
• Experience leading technical projects across multiple engineering disciplines and making independent engineering judgments.
• Working knowledge of database fundamentals and data mining techniques, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Experience with JMP, Minitab, NWA, and MIDAs digital platforms.
• Experience with chemical and physical material analysis.
• Experience working with customers and suppliers to translate process control requirements into production execution.
