Production Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Fort Myers, Florida, Monday through Friday

What you will do

• Provide daily engineering support to production teams and resolve manufacturing, product, and process issues.
• Develop, improve, validate, and maintain manufacturing processes, assembly methods, work instructions, fixtures, tooling, and production documentation.
• Use root cause analysis, manufacturing metrics, and data-driven methods to improve safety, quality, yield, productivity, throughput, lead time, and process capability.
• Support nonconformances, corrective and preventive actions, engineering changes, process validations, and configuration control.
• Maintain BOMs, drawings, routings, specifications, and other manufacturing engineering documentation.
• Support line balancing, capacity analysis, time studies, workstation and layout improvements, Kaizen events, new product introductions, and product transfers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, or another relevant engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in production engineering, manufacturing engineering, sustaining engineering, or a related manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD tools such as Inventor or SolidWorks.
• Experience developing and validating manufacturing processes, work instructions, fixtures, tooling, or production methods.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills, with knowledge of engineering change control, BOMs, drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Must work on-site in Fort Myers, Florida, complete employment eligibility verification, background checks, and required pre-employment testing.

Nice to have

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification and experience leading continuous improvement activities.
• Experience with ERP systems, BOM management tools, manufacturing data systems, product transfers, process validations, or manufacturing trials.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or another regulated quality system.
• English/Spanish bilingual ability.
