Sanitation Technician, Production

Location: Windsor, Nova Scotia, Canada; onsite manufacturing facility

Salary: $17.10–$29.93 CAD per hour, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits.

hirify.global’s BIOVECTRA business develops and manufactures active pharmaceutical ingredients and therapeutics, including biologics, synthetic small molecules, plasmid DNA, mRNA, LNP, and sterile-fill products.

What you will do

• Clean and sanitize production lines, cleanroom areas, ductwork, manufacturing equipment, floors, walls, and outdoor areas.
• Operate manual and automated cleaning equipment and wear required PPE.
• Handle acids, bases, solvents, potent compounds, and active pharmaceutical ingredients safely.
• Perform process sampling and accurately weigh and measure chemical materials.
• Support production technicians and supervisors with equipment cleaning, material staging, warehousing, tanker operations, and batch production activities.
• Follow batch records, work instructions, policies, and standard operating procedures while contributing to process documentation improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2+ years of experience; pharmaceutical or food manufacturing experience in an FDA-regulated environment is an asset.
• Ability to follow strict standard operating procedures and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a dynamic team environment.
• Ability to safely weigh and measure chemicals used in pharmaceutical production.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• Post-secondary diploma in an applicable field.
• WHMIS certification and First Aid certification.
• Good Manufacturing Practices experience.
