Field Service Technician II (Environmental Services)

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, United States; field-based onsite work

Salary: $24 hourly; posted pay range $14.90–$34.62 hourly

What you will do

• Perform hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous-material handling.
• Operate light and heavy equipment, hand tools, powered industrial tools, vehicles, ladders, and scaffolding.
• Assist with field sampling, meter calibration, waste-stream profiling, and drum inspections.
• Safely load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste while following environmental, health, and safety procedures.
• Complete vehicle, equipment, and permit documentation and comply with U.S. DOT and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Participate in rotating emergency-response on-call coverage, including occasional weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in the field in Cincinnati, Ohio, including outdoors, confined spaces, elevated locations, variable temperatures, and potentially hazardous environments.
• Previous relevant labor experience and the ability to perform strenuous physical work, including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Agreement to emergency-response on-call duties; shifts may extend to 12–24 hours.
• Successful completion of a background check, drug test, and physical examination where required.
• Respirator use requires compliance with OSHA facial-hair standards.
