TL;DR
Service Technician (Aviation): Supporting aircraft servicing and flight line operations in an onsite role with an accent on aircraft safety, serviceability, and mission readiness. Focus on conducting inspections, refueling and replenishing aircraft systems, operating ground-support vehicles, and recording maintenance activities in Maintenix.

Location: Onsite in Moose Jaw, Canada

Salary: $25.19/hour CAD

What you will do

  • Marshal, park, secure, tow, and start aircraft.
  • Refuel aircraft, replenish aircraft systems, inflate tires, and perform authorized elementary servicing tasks.
  • Conduct through-flight and visual inspections, identify leaks, and report discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with pilots and maintenance personnel to verify aircraft systems and flight controls.
  • Operate tow tractors, start carts, and other light special-purpose vehicles; configure aircraft for operational requirements.
  • Maintain tools and work areas, complete housekeeping inspections, and record servicing activities in Maintenix.

Requirements

  • Secondary school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and basic computer skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Reliability Security Clearance.
  • Eligible to complete a Controlled Goods Program assessment and meet applicable export-control and ITAR-related authorization requirements.

Nice to have

  • 1–2 years of work experience.
  • Experience in aviation, flight line operations, mechanical, electrical, production, transportation, agricultural equipment, automotive, or heavy equipment environments.
  • Outdoor work experience and demonstrated mechanical or technical skills.
