Associate Sales Engineer (Financial Services)

Location: Jacksonville, Florida, United States — hybrid; occasional travel for client meetings and industry events.

What you will do

• Collaborate with sales to understand client requirements and develop tailored technical solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations focused on relevant client needs.
• Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle and resolve pre-sales technical issues.
• Prepare proof-of-concept engagements, pilot programs, technical proposals, and RFP responses.
• Track Advent's product suite, industry trends, and competitive developments.
• Relay client feedback to product management and development teams and represent the solutions at industry events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related technical field.
• 1–3 years of experience in technical support, pre-sales, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial services technology, including investment management, portfolio accounting, or wealth management platforms.
• Excellent presentation, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
