Insurance Product Enablement Lead

Location: Waltham, Massachusetts (hybrid); the posting also lists Boston, Massachusetts.

US annual base salary: $173,000–$234,000 USD, plus potential annual performance-based incentives and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and lead the Insurance Product Enablement function, integrating product operations and analyst subteams.
• Partner with Insurance Product Managers to reduce operational friction and accelerate product delivery.
• Oversee compliance inquiries, issue resolution, manual policy tasks, process documentation, product amendments, competitive analysis, and performance reporting.
• Improve product configuration, documentation, infrastructure, delivery processes, and product governance.
• Develop shared tools, templates, dashboards, operating standards, service-level expectations, and feedback mechanisms.
• Coach team members and collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, Actuarial, and Compliance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in insurance product management, operations, or enablement.
• Experience designing and scaling internal processes, tools, and governance frameworks.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects or teams in insurance, insurtech, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the commercial insurance product lifecycle, including filings, underwriting, and system implementation.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and prioritization skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

• Insurance certifications such as CPCU, AINS, or AU.
