Director of Product (Risk & Response)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $200,000–$260,000 per year, depending on geographic market, qualifications, and experience.

What you will do

• Set product strategy across underwriting, claims, and security as one connected risk lifecycle.
• Lead, hire, coach, and develop product managers across three technically distinct domains.
• Build feedback loops between security telemetry, underwriting decisions, claims development, pricing, and realized loss outcomes.
• Own product activation, onboarding, value demonstration, and product-led growth for Control and Wirespeed.
• Partner with Data and Engineering on model-driven workflows, automated decisioning, ML-assisted tooling, and major platform migrations.
• Define portfolio-wide success metrics and represent product strategy to executives, brokers, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product experience, including several years leading and developing product managers.
• Experience owning a multi-domain or platform portfolio and setting strategy across competing priorities.
• Ability to lead technically deep, model-driven, or data-heavy product areas in partnership with Data and Engineering.
• Strong people leadership, communication, influence, and stakeholder-alignment skills.
• Experience with major platform migrations or transformations of critical internal or enterprise systems.
• Daily fluency with AI tools and a clear perspective on applying AI to underwriting, claims, and security.

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance or other regulated financial products.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity products, MDR/EDR, security operations, or incident response.
• Experience shipping predictive-model, risk-score, or automated-decisioning products under operational and regulatory constraints.
