Associate Manager, Fund Accounting - Private Markets

What you will do

• Support team members through technical training and fund accounting knowledge sharing.
• Review quarterly financial statements, investment data, capital allocations, net asset value calculations, and accrual bookings.
• Act as the primary liaison for a portfolio of clients and coordinate with auditors, law firms, and tax advisors.
• Prepare, review, and maintain general ledgers, subledgers, and trial balances for multiple fund clients under IFRS, US GAAP, and local GAAP.
• Support new client entity implementation, onboarding, and setup.
• Coordinate client deliverables, monitor quality and timelines, reconcile business metrics, and improve operational processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 6+ years of accounting experience focused on alternative investment funds.
• Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and other comprehensive bases of accounting, with emphasis on investment partnerships.
• Experience with consolidated financial statements and minority interest.
• Ability to manage time effectively and handle shifting priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency is required.
