Senior Associate (Fund Accounting)

What you will do

• Review and finalize daily, weekly, and monthly NAV calculations for hedge funds and private equity funds.
• Analyze P&L drivers, valuation impacts, pricing exceptions, journal entries, accruals, corporate actions, and expenses.
• Review cash, position, trade, and price reconciliations and resolve breaks with brokers, custodians, and counterparties.
• Manage client accounting queries, investor reporting deliverables, audit packages, and year-end audit coordination.
• Review valuation inputs and investment activity for derivatives, fixed income, equities, swaps, options, forwards, structured notes, and private equity investments.
• Allocate work, perform quality checks, mentor junior team members, and contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in hedge fund or alternative fund accounting, fund operations, or financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of NAV, investment accounting, financial instruments, derivatives, fixed income, equities, and alternative asset classes.
• Experience with reconciliations, P&L attribution, valuations, and advanced Excel features including Pivot Tables, lookups, and complex formulas.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, review, and deadline-management skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Geneva, Investran, or similar fund accounting platforms.
