Fund Accounting Manager I

Location: Radnor, United States; flexible hybrid working. The role may include working abroad for up to three weeks per year.

hirify.global provides fund administration and accounting services for investment fund structures and their associated management companies.

What you will do

• Prepare and review quarterly financial statements for fund investors under US GAAP, and when required IFRS and UK/Lux GAAP.
• Oversee investor capital statements, capital call notices, distribution notices, and supporting general ledger schedules.
• Review bookkeeping and accounting matters for funds, management companies, and associated structures.
• Calculate and review complex waterfall structures, carried interest, management fees, equalisations, and capital activity.
• Manage client relationships and liaise with auditors and tax preparers during year-end audits.
• Act as a higher authority on accounting queries, support ISAE compliance, supervise staff development, and improve processes and internal controls.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in fund accounting or audit, ideally in the alternative funds sector.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and alternative funds reporting.
• Experience preparing financial statements, capital calls, distributions, and capital activity.
• Previous experience supervising, leading, and coaching a team.
• Professional interpersonal, collaboration, organization, and prioritization skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience with Yardi, eFront, or Investran.
