Manager, Alternative Investments

Location: Westlake, Texas, United States; relocation may be required for employees outside the specified locations, with on-site work required.

Salary: USD $68,200–$139,500 per year

What you will do

• Lead the Alternative Investments Asset Acceptance Review team and coach team members through challenges and future-state solutions.
• Oversee detailed operational reviews and due diligence for private equity, hedge funds, real estate, pooled investment funds, REITs, BDCs, and other non-standard assets.
• Develop and maintain asset review frameworks aligned with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with internal teams, external vendors, and business channels to support client requests, asset servicing, and smooth asset onboarding.
• Improve workflows, reporting structures, resource utilization, and risk management protocols.
• Build relationships with limited partners, general partners, industry leaders, and other market participants while monitoring industry and regulatory developments.

Requirements

• Three or more years of experience in financial services.
• Two or more years of experience in alternative investment operations, asset management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of private equity, hedge funds, and real asset investment structures.
• Demonstrated change leadership, people management, coaching, relationship management, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify and mitigate risk while following firm policies and regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Nice to have

• Active and valid FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
• Two or more years of people leadership experience.
