Fund Accountant (AI)

Location: New York City; on-site 5 days per week

hirify.global is building an AI-native ERP and proprietary general ledger for private markets, combining fund administration with investor portals, AI-powered portfolio management, and KPI collection.

What you will do

• Serve on engagement teams for 5–10 clients and act as the primary point of contact.
• Manage books and records, capital calls and distributions, allocations and waterfalls, and capital account statements.
• Deliver financial reporting that meets client SLAs.
• Communicate directly with fund CFOs, COOs, and GPs.
• Use AI-assisted workflows and automation to reduce manual accounting work.
• Identify process improvements and share them with the engineering team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience in fund accounting for alternative investments.
• Strong knowledge of fund structures, LPA terms, accounting principles, and industry standards.
• Technical skills including AI and Claude.
• Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to work directly with CFOs and COOs.

Nice to have

• Expertise in venture capital, private equity, or private credit.
• CPA qualification or CPA candidacy.
• Big Four public accounting experience.
• Interest in applying AI to fund administration workflows.
